@Tumu_ : yes there are. This is I believe a red tip. I'll have to look it up. When I get back up.
My dh had a beautiful cactus garden in our front yard in Arizona. I'll have to find some pics. We started nearly all from cuttings. I had planted them as a barrier from the neighbor at our rental. Ha that's a saga, anyway they left and a guy couple moved in. And boy did they have plants. Well when we moved, we gave them heads up. After all we started in that tiny house, moved next door (I do mean next unit) and we were moving into homeownership, so I let them bid on first dips for my place. They got it however my cacti babies had established themselves and they needed gone. They rang me and said, do you want these. Mind you some were half the size of yours. Some started out as big as my thumb. You bet I want them. That's thousands and thousands of dollars. And my dh went down and dug and replanted every single one. The year I sold the house they bloomed. I never got to see them fully open. My BFF had moved so no pic. The idiots that bought my home ruined everything. The xeroscaped front yard, my beautiful hand designed and literally overseen project of my saltwater pool, my citrus orchard and my beautiful aromatic herb gardens. All a solid foundation to expand.
I can not wait to see your bloom.
