@Rolnwithmyhomie : I just googled this and saw something I didn't know, calcium build up from tap water can accumulate in the soil and cause brown/yellow coloring…who knew!

@MissAmericanPie : Best not to give plant food after repotting, wait 2-3 weeks to get over the shock. Another idea, is to remove from pot, & examine the roots. If, they are in tight ball, release them gently & let them spread out. Then, you can trim them with sharp scissors, not too much repot in same container using fresh soil. Similar to us getting a haircut, no harm to plant. It will be happy being able to stretch out & enjoy new nutrients. I've done this for years!❤️😘

Do you see any sign of bugs or insects?

@MissAmericanPie : No, not at all. Maybe it's just sad! I would love to bring it home, but I really don't have too many spots for a plant of that size to get good sunlight.

@Rolnwithmyhomie : It's a closet plant also called peace lily. Looks like it is in a perfect spot....no direct sun but plenty of light. Repot in slightly larger planter. Make sure the holes in the bottom allow for drainage....sometimes they can get stopped up. Yes it could use a little all purpose fertilizer. Only water when soil feels dry. Too much water will kill them. Very pretty plant.

@Rolnwithmyhomie : i think you are over watering it; once a week for a 'closet plant'. They like indirect sunlight, too

It looks like a fungal issue from being over watered, including the dark spot.

Also, peace lilies don't need a lot of sun.
