Anyone know how this area is with high water? I saw on FB that water was on the streets near some apartments but don't know how close to WLH. 4951

This view is West Lake Houston going toward the bridge. The water is entering the neighborhood from that part of the street, not overflowing at the shops, nor is it going over the bridge. It is impassable, so don't try it. You can't tell from the photo, but the water is moving along at a good clip.   Loading Image... 4951

The bridge is closed. Magnolia Cove Drive is all water, but the apartments are ok. There's water on WLH by the Y. Do not go that way. 4951

The restaurants had a long way to flood from what I saw yesterday afternoon.  Hopefully they are still dry.  The parking garage lower floor was flooded but that may have been more from the rain.     4951

I am just walking up from dead tired sleeping. Did it rain again last night or is this from water being released further upstream? 4951

The bridge is closed at Kings River Dr - the HPD guy said it is 4' under water and it sure looks like that. On the north side the water is on WLH just below the Y so the road is closed there.Only way to Kingwood is via 1960, Townsen and then the frontage road. The Townsen Metro Park n Ride is under water up to the windows of the vans parked there. Going to be an interesting commute tomorrow! 4951

What @Pugkrazy said. We rode our bikes down there ( I know I said I don't do those things- we stopped well short of the water.)
A guy walking up from that direction said all the streets in Harbor Cove are flooded.
Here's a pic taken of WLH standing at the south driveway of the Y looking across to that neighborhood
