Wedge Haircut???

Hello, my 21 year old daughter just moved back home and is wanting to get her long hair cut short into a wedge type haircut. Â Does anyone know of a good hair stylist around the Humble/Kingwood area who does not charge an arm and a leg for a haircut and is very good with this type of haircut? Â I know you get what you pay for, but somewhere in the 30.00/35.00 range? Â Hate to see her do it, but her decision!Thanks

Oh God please don't go anywhere and ask for a wedge haircut. Your poor daughter will come out with a hideous Kate Gosslin cut. Instead ask for an inverted bob cut. It's softer than a wedge and trust me, if she's cutting her hair short for the first time, you don't want the clippers to be used (which they use for the wedge). 4951

I had my hair almost touching my butt.Â Then, I ha da bad day and chopped it off into something similar.Â The back was very short but the front was a little longer.Â I loved it.Â I hate growing it out though.MY dh didn't like it but knew better than to say anything

I had mine cut like that once and loved it. I went to tgf on kingwood drive closest to the railroad tracks. Not sure how much just the cut it because I had highlights too. Can't remember the girls name but she would know who I'm talking about by just going in. She's got tons of tattoos and usually has her hair a crazy color 4951

That TGF is a little known secret....the girl that cut Iris' hair is great, and so are a couple of the others.Â Think a cut is only $25-ish.Â 4951

D'Jay at Visions on Atascocita Road next to the MW Cleaners and Shipley.Â She is amazing and VERY affordable. She gave my daughter a very cute bob.I always go to her for highlights and a cut. 4951

The manager at TGF on Kingwood did my cut ...$35.00 ...& I got all kinds of compliments on the cut & styleÂ it wasn't a wedge but it was a little longer in the front than the backÂ & I loved !Â I now have my hair really short in a boy cutÂ because of my surgery & only having one hand toÂ do things with right now . I'm lovin' the ease of this shorterÂ style & cut too. 4951

I love having my hair shoulder length .. Don't think I would ever go any shorter. My Hubby surprisingly loves my short hair .. Didn't think guys liked short hair! He calls me his old fashioned girl. I really wish the retro hair and style would come back. 4951
