Water Bill Adjustment

We were initially told our request for an adjustment was denied because it was in line with our past usage, which it wasn't. We had two months in which we were charged for using 25,000 gallons, and there's no way we used that much. Well, I got a pleasant surprise when I logged on to see if they were still using the set rate on our bills.

Happened to us but it was only one month. How they had so many problems reporting everyone using 25k gallons blows my mind. I don't think any of us filled an Olympic swimming pool.

What is your normal bill? Sheesh! Wow

@Ruger5 : In July and August usually around $300. I called when the new mayor set up the special call center for excessive bills because summer before last, I got a bill that was almost $800 and another form$600+. They showed I used in excess of 20,000 gallons one month, and 25,000+ the next and also said the readings were correct. I figured it wouldn't hurt to call the number that was given out, and I'm glad I did because I ended up with a $1000+ credit on my account.
