@Ruger5 : I am SO sorry this happened, and it is so disconcerting, and downright scary!! I always go to the bank, then will drive all over; not even getting out of the car. I will go 10 miles away, turn around under a freeway, go 5 miles in another direction, and so on. I am on the phone with my sister, the entire time. If they have to spend too much time following you, they quit, and go back for quicker 'results'. Just Too Sad that we have to live this way. Btw, I always have my friends Smith and Wesson with me, when I go to the bank,and I always go inside, and never carry a purse. The sports bra is my BFF.

Holy crap. HPD has these monthly meetings here in Kingwood once a month. You may want to attend. They taught us all about jugging. Its about being aware of what the hell is going on around you.I live alone and drive late at night or times when there is no one else on the road. A couple of times I really felt I was being followed. Yes I carry a weapon but when you dont feel safe, its not like I was going to drive up in the driveway and get out. Went straight to HPD on Rustic Woods and called them from the parking lot.

The investigator said one way or the other he was gonna follow you to whatever your destination was, and if I hadn't stopped first for that desk it would've been my home. The stupid thing is it would've been very easy to lock my car, but I was only 10 feet away, I shouldn't have stepped inside that house, but I wasn't thinking there was a thief on my tail. Now I'm twitching. Now we're oiling up Grandads shotgun 🙄

@billcherie2 : I was about to suggest using a drive up bank window instead of going into the bank when getting cash. Using the drive up window means no one sees or hears details of your transaction except you and the bank clerk.I never use an ATM machine, but I've been comfortable with going through the drive up process. I do usually get in the line right by the building so I am dealing directly with a bank clerk and not using one of those vacuum delivery things. What is it about the drive up that keeps you from using it?

@Tumu_ : Long time ago I sold a car, I drove it to the guy's office, he gave me the cash, It was around 13,000 USD.

I was followed from the Chase bank to Walgreens around Thanksgiving.. he followed me down Kingwood Drive and I pulled into parking spot in front...he pulled into spot on side and kept his door open and watched me....after a few minutes I went in and was in the make up section...a couple of minutes later he walked up to within five feet of me and stood in front of me and stared at me. I stared back and unzipped the outside of my purse...CHL carrier. He turned and walked out. Always be aware of your surroundings...I knew I was being targeted and prepared to take action if necessary.

Ladies, there's dangerous people everywhere today. Be extra careful especially when you're out alone. Accidentally flashing money or expensive jewelry catches evil eyes. And remember it's now legal to pack a handgun without a permit in Texas.
