@StormChaser :
Consolidated our internet company came through the backyards. Took pickets off of fences, left an open box in our yard (still a giant hole behind it) by the back corner. Went catty corner through the center of the yard. Brought in gas powered augers and generators through the fence. One day they weren't working, they were leaned up against my old oak scrolling their phones. I went out and said get to work or take your break somewhere else. I couldn't open a blind for a week. They left a **** show of fences falling around us. Then the knock came. It was my neighbor behind me. Our plumbing T's right at the fence on my side. His cousins laid a tarp and dug. They were chest high in the hole so I kept going to check on them. They left not a grain of sand of a mess. I called the cable company like a mad dog. How dare you leave a box open and damaged fences. It's fixed half assed.
Then tachus came through the front. All you see is a flat green box in the neighbor's yard. Then the city of conroe came and put in new water meters and water lines. They put plywood down and set their pipe threader machine on it in my yard. Both brought sod for any damaged areas.
Then they started taking out the streets. They had a machine that took up the street like a sheet. (Really cool to watch) not a grain of asphalt anywhere because the sweeper crew came through. They did concrete curbs etc, again no mess.
These companies either need their own crew they can be responsible for or the sub contractors should have to identify themselves rather than saying they are the company that sub contracted them.
Anyone doing work on our property (it's leased and we are responsible for damages) I take pictures of them working and their vehicles. I had some fat Mexican guy get in my face, telling me I can't take his picture. I told him **** you I can't. You are in my yard, you're tearing my **** up. If my leasing company comes for me, I'm coming for you with the proof you actually did it. I hate that ****. I/ we didn't do that. ****! Yes you did, own it.
