That was ugly outside here for a minute. It's good now.

We got the warning but, I just assumed another child abducted. The rain came and is in buckets and barrels. Just about the time of the alert I said to my dh, what is that noise? Doesn't sound like thunder rumbling. What could that be? Never looked, too busy looking for my new leaks lol.
This is our second tornado (the one in June ****ed up 105) since June. Wonder if this will be the new norm?
We never lost power before, even in that crazy freeze a few years back. Seems lately, more often than not, wind and rain makes the power surge. TV flipped off twice and we already shut everything else down.

Thanks for thinking of me. We were searching for rental and for sale homes in our livingroom with two walls of floor to ceiling windows. Lol
I already closed the blinds and the curtains because the neighbors have dead trees that hang over us in areas. It won't stop anything but may prevent glass from flying. It's still coming down pretty hard and steady.

@beadweaver : I'm thinking about you dearest one, hopefully you won't encounter any bad weather and just receive some rain. 🤗 We've been getting rain in the back of Kingwood recently, but no bad weather.
