Texas Q Grand Opening

Texas Q invites the public to come celebrate the grand opening at their new location on 1965 Northpark Drive in Kingwood. Along with delicious food, there will be live music, games, a waterslide, bouncy house, snow cones and more! Bring the whole family, even the dog!

Texas Q has been serving up mouth-watering barbecue, southern scratch made sides and decadent desserts out of a food truck since 2013. Now they have a permanent location to call home, located where Swamp Donkeys used to be.

Sloan Rinaldi, owner and 4th generations pitmaster, has her own line of award winning BBQ sauces sold at HEB and was selected for "Chopped" to represent Texas in their Grill Masters Tournament on Food Network in 2018.

@Donnawisdom : It's outdoors. I'm there this Saturday and then again on the 21st. In between I have an outdoor gig in Navasota at Wildflyer Mead Co. as well. I have a box fan that I tote along but it's still pretty hot. That said, I 100% prefer "outside and hot" to "inside where smoking is allowed". 4951

I remember when we just had to put up with people smoking. It's a wonder the second hand smoke didn't kill us 4951

@HollyHobby : I'll be there again on the 21st from 6-9pm! I'd suggest getting there before 8 as they were already running out of sides. They completely sold out again tonight! 4951
