call Tachus customer service. They are amazing. I had an issue and the tech spent 45 minutes on the phone at 9pm on a Saturday night. I asked him where he was calling from and he said Spring Texas!!!! Walked me through a variety of tests to check everything that could possibly be wrong. It did turn out that my modem ( 4 years old) was bad. He even went online to Best Buy and said they had a sale and that they have fewer issue calls from those who have TP Link routers. As it turned out my old router was still under the warranty so I got it replaced for free and the new one was $100 less so I got a credit!!! my download speed is 852 and upload speed 828 -- Tachus is the best
@elguapo : AX3600 that I bought in 2022 when we got Tachus service. We have 2700 sq/ft single story home so I went with a mesh system to get coverage to all areas. Our Tachus access point is at one end of the house.
It also depends on the device you are running speed test on, For example. This is my laptop on wifi. This is my desktop on Wired connection. This is my phone.
Here's the report from running Speedtest.net just now on my desktop computer. This machine is Ethernet connected directly to the Tachus modem so this is about as good as you're going to get on a 1 Gbps connection. These speeds are consistent and have maintained these numbers since we hooked up with Tachus over a year ago.
