Depends on your device and how much "shady" stuff is mooching off the connection behind your back.....

what plan do you have if you don't mind me asking? When we went to smart/wireless TV, I bumped mine up an extra $10 to correct how much more we were using it then.

@Max57 : connect directly to the tachus router and test. Chances are the secondary device is not capable of those speeds they provided you. I got a 10g router and 10g switch router was about 700 and switch was 112. Post the router model and we may help more.

This was mine just now on WiFi. Direct to modem on the Mac desktop is much faster.

May be your router or Wi-Fi card. I just picked up a Wi-Fi 6 card for my desktop and pulled 986 Mbps last night.
