Tachus Modems

What kind of modems are they using? Do you have to use theirs? Do they charge a rental fee for it?
Is it just a docsis 3.1 modem or is it something else entirely?
I was looking at getting a new one but I'm not going to get a modem/wifi router two in one if I don't need the modem part. 4951

That's a good question. I have google whole home Wi-Fi router. It worries me about which modem they uses, because google isn't compatible with a lot of stuff. They say its for security reasons, but hopefully it works when I switch over. 4951

@ZMAN : I can take a picture when I get home. You do have to use theirs, but it is included in the charge. Mine is $80 even every month. It does not look like my docsis 3.1 one. 4951

@gigem09 : Cool, that one says it also does wifi, is that the case with the one you have? 4951

I understand Tachus provides the modem and you provide your router. Tachus will will connect the router to the modem and set everything up. 4951

@ZMAN : I don't think so. I still use my Orbi for that. It looks like that one, but could be a different model number. 4951

I read somewhere their modems have a cellular backup, so probably have to use there's. 4951
