Softball yesterday was HOT
They went to the last game of the granddaughter's season and it was brutally hot out, around 98 in Baytown and probably hotter out on the field. Shooting is always a challenge, a lot of the nicer newer fields have high chain link fence so he had to actually shoot through the fence. It works if you are up very close to the wires in the fence and using a long telephoto lens.
They lost but not without trying really hard to win but the other team was just better. The younger granddaughter went out after the first inning, the heat was just too much for her so they iced her down and let her sit out. Her older sister played 1st and had a few good hits when at bat.
Kind of glad I stayed home in my kennel, I was nice and cool there.
