I have a few skin tags I would like to rid myself of without going to the Dr. The Dr. says they are considered cosmetic and insurance will not pay to remove them. Aynway, I got these skin tag patches that are supposed to make them fall off. I have used them faithfully for 5 days and nothing seems to be happening. Has anyone had luck getting rid of skin tags with patches similar to these? If so, how long did it take? Do you have any other suggestions for skin tag removal?

Read about duct tape. I never did it myself.

@Annie : I think it smothers them out. I wonder if it would rip them right off. It sounds very painful!

@TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I did it for a friend. It was fast and easy. She said her Dr recommended it so I wasn't afraid of killing her, lol.

Twist them with tweezers and the blood flow to them will stop and they will dry up and fall off.
Here is another way: youtu.be/FCxsmrxT34E

I purchased a pair of surgical scissors on Amazon, then just disinfect, numb with ice and just snip them off, I usually can't feel it.

I had a skin tag and tied thread around the bottom and within a week it came off and never came back. Sounds similar to the twisting method, cuts off blood flow.

@RaggedyAnn :

Sounds like a bargain! My dermatologist made a car payment off of me.
