Saw this lamp on the classifieds.

Back in the '70's my grandmother was given this same lamp as a gift. She hung the lamp but, as a modest, Christian woman, she was embarrassed by the woman's naked-appearing boobs. So she covered them with two bandaids. ðŸ˜‚ That memory came back to me today in the classifieds. 4951

Grandmother!!! Lol
I had those as they were a set of fountain sways. Oil ran through them. Lol
Now I have memories floating around the oiled gears in my skull. Lol 4951

That is crazy!! I was just thinking the other day about one of those dripping oil lamps that was at the home of a couple that I used to babysit their son back in the mid-70s. It was so mesmerizing to watch the slowly dripping oil run down the filaments strung vertically around the perimeter. I bet they were awful to keep clean/free from dust. Yuck!! 4951

@QueenB : We gave one of those to my mil early 80's for Chirtmas - oil makes it look like rain droplets . Pretty cool in the day. 4951

@QueenB : Well I want to be better looking but it will take a lot more than $125. I love to look at old things but I had my chance when they were new so I sure don't want them when they are old. 4951
