@FreebyrdII : They do have a small release from Conroe, but also there is a lot of runoff from Cypress Creek into the San Jac west fork.

buffaloglenn : Will these actions flood homes? I'm new to this area and never experienced this stuff before. I'm in sand creek, would this affect my neighborhood? Thank you!

@MsJane3 : @mellen : posted the graph with forecast. That level will only flood the lowest-lying homes right on the river. It won't affect where you are at all.

Yes, homes along the river. They are used to it. No, sand creek shouldn't have any issues. Do not use the underpass at the bridge. That road will be covered.

buffaloglenn : Thank you very much. I'm from the PNW where we just don't get this much rain so I'm still freaked out about flooding. Appreciate you giving me some peace of mind

@MsJane3 : You're welcome - no need to worry on this one. After Harvey, the same point in the river as on the graph hit almost 70 feet, roughly 18 feet higher than where the current projection is for that part of the San Jac.
