Why is this happening?

@notfromhere : All the rain on Sunday/Monday is running off. The drainage area of the East Fork San Jac got a lot more rain than Kingwood did.

@BobRehak : What?? I was driving down Woodland Hills and saw the creek last night and it was so high near the daycare center that flooded awhile back

@buffaloglenn : Kind of like with Harvey the hurricane itself didn't really bother us much, it was the run off/dam being opened that got us

You are very right! Although it is concerning all of this heavy rain headed our way again. Just reminds us that it can happen anywhere and anytime. I'm praying for all those people who will be affected. Hopefully no water makes it inside their house or businesses.
