Samsung TV Not streaming…
 
On my friends Samsung TV, all of a sudden just stopped streaming anything. Both Amazon Prime and Netflix will not work…her direct Tv said all was well with her service. She has Brite Speed and she's using internet with no issues.
Any ideas? Idk why it would just stop.
I've done all the self check stuff…turning it off and on, updating firmware on the TV, checking the settings…no idea if it's the TV or what!

Unplug it wait a bit then plug it back in.

Unplug the router, wait a few minutes, and plug in again. Might just need to be rebooted. Good Luck.

@MissAmericanPie : We ran into a similar issue not long ago. If her Samsung Plus TV app is missing, they are providing updates. Takes 24-48 hours. Tell her to go touch some grass.

I recently read that Samsung was ending streaming support for older models...
 
If they can afford it, recommend they get a Roku. It's a better experience anyway.

@MissAmericanPie : reset the network settings on the TV and log back in.
