Donnawisdom : People don't like to hear this, but it ultimately comes down to who puts butts in front of the tv. He was more a draw than she was, so he got paid more. Perhaps she should've been paid more than she was, but if he was the main reason that people were watching, it's not unreasonable that he get paid more.
@KrazyKatze : I agree he may have been the main star and was paid more initially. However I'm NOT sure that was the case as the show went on. She had a huge following and she should have been paid way more than she was after she became the breakout star she was and proved herself.
I'm not much of a woman's libber but I do see the intrinsic unfairness that plagued this industry. Men ran everything and they had the upper hand in it all.
