cbear : Same here! A gas range, and a gas fireplace, those fake logs turn amber red and crackle just like the real thing……. But with the use of both of these devices, we will be able to heat a decent portion of the back part of the house.
@Ruger5 : We do not have a gas stove but we do have a gas fireplace. Those fake logs are great to set a pot on to heat up soup or cook something. We have a flat spot in there and a 6 or 8 quart pot fits nicely. I don't want to go outside to use the gas grill or the camping stoves when it is so cold.
