This is a very good reason why you should always have a Coleman stove around for emergencies.

No coffee is definitely an emergency. When we prepare for hurricanes, my wife's primary concern is making sure we can make coffee.

@Rocklady2020 : You don't own a jackery? They are portable chargeable batteries with outlets. The size changes what can be ran like a coffee maker or cpap machine, box fans etc. Great for small appliances. Recommend their site or Amazon. I own a small one and it is awesome. I picked it based on reviews and which appliance I needed to be able to run on it. It is great for 24-48 hours
