Given the number of guns stolen out of cars, why in the heck does anyone keep their firearm in an un-garaged vehicle? Kids and thugs (in any shape or color) carrying guns is a scary thought.
Not always the parents fault guys.... I was a teen and we were very crafty. We snuck out, would spend the night at friends house and sneak out. My parents were SUPER strict and sometimes that can backfire. Unless you set an alarm for every hour on the hour and check your kids beds they can find a way out. Best thing to do is to keep open communication with your kids, and pay CLOSE attention to who they hang out with. It is not the same world we grew up in.
