Pet license required!

My DD got notice that she has to have a license to have a pet. I have never heard of such thing?
Why do I not have to register my pets? Does everyone in Harris County register their pet? 4951

I think when your dog gets a rabies shot your vet should give you the form to register . It's just with the city of Houston 4951

Unfortunately. A vet can refuse your pet if they don't get the rabies vaccine, by getting the vaccine the city knows you have a pet. 4951
