It's so pretty there. Great time of year to be there too. It's harvest time and there should be plenty of festivals, farmers markets, etc. If you can afford it lol, you should buy an Amish quilt. It will last 100's of years. I may be a little jelly right now. Lol
I can smell all the apples, etc. This is truly my favorite time of year.
I am a September baby and my first sights, sounds, and smells was the harvest. I then hibernate like an old bear for a long winter's nap. I awaken in spring to till the land, plant my crops. Come summer we tend to them in the sun. A great anticipation of another year's harvest.

@KanKan: As long as you're in Pennslyvania, head over to Pittsburgh if you have time. I lived there 2 separate times & there's lots of fun stuff to do.You could say Hi to my old bf. His father was president of all the Mellon banks. Lol, when my mom found out, she said I should've married him! He's an atty now.

@bigcity : In Indiana there is horse and buggy parking at Walmart.

We've found traveling that some Amish set up in parking lots to sell their wares. I bought a pie carrier basket with leather straps that I love and I always get compliments on it.

Good morning! High today will be in the 60s here. We've bought a few cold-weather things for Mom but I'm good and loving the weather here. We spent the day with one of my daddy's brothers and his wife. Cousin didn't make it over but we'll see her later in the week. Uncle and Aunt have a golden doodle and oh my word! Puppy love!🐾❤️. I may have to get one. Speed limits around here are slower than home so hoping we don't get a ticket while we're here. Lol. We may rest a little more today but not sure yet. So much we want to do. I'll add a few more pictures of the landscape but some are not too good. It's hard to get a good picture when you're a passenger in a car. Lol. Y'all have a great day! ☺️
