PA trip update and pictures. Yesterday was absolutely crazy. Early morning, three big bags, three under the seat bags, walker, slow moving, none had eaten. Recipe for disaster. We got to the airport around 515, flight was at 720, got to the gate as they started loading (most important part). United app said drop off at terminal E, construction note said C, DH dropped us off at E (lesson learned not to use United app), rude worker inside said they don't open until 6 and go check bags at C. Where's the wheelchair I requested? Not available. Finally got to C, friendly workers, checked bags, could've gotten wheelchair there but they made it sound like it wasn't far so Mom decided to just use walker. She did good until almost to gate. She then sat on walker and we pushed her the last little way. Going downhill, a passerby said he'd run to the end if we let her roll and he'd be a bowling pin. Lol. Next time we'll do wheelchair. TSA was a breeze. Flight was good. Was going to taste Mom's mimosa, I've never tasted one, couldn't get past the alcohol smell. Sis and I figured out it was a screwdriver. Lol. Shuttle driver to rental car place was awesome! Some Astros fans on the shuttle - Go 'Stros! Rental place was a breeze and off we went. Speed limit 55 pretty much the whole way! What?! Nice roads, beautiful scenery. Have already decided we should've brought warmer clothes so we already hit a couple stores last night. It wouldn't be so bad but the wind was blowing pretty good. Hotel is basic but clean and very nice host. He's already been laughing with us, or maybe at us. Lol. Time to get my coffee and share a few pictures.
@KanKan : Wonderful pics!!!! Penn is a beautiful state....love the mountain area up in Potter County, especially, spent some quality time there. The air in the wild is so clean and clear. Thanks for sharing!
