One of my Cub Scouts Family and proud to say part of my Son's friend family, so technically our family. All the Mom's call all these boys from my Pack "Son" and treat them as our own, no matter what we all give each other credit for raising them to be fine young men. All the Mom's have remained close friends as have the boys who are now 34, 35, 36, & 37. I got them when they were 6, 7 & and 8.

@Murry : Thanks, they are all some great guys. They've all stood in each's weddings too. He and one other are hold outs for that but they do have kids. They all own their own homes except my son in KY. He doesn't want to buy where they're at, but she works or the KY Transportation Cabinet, so I think he'll buy there eventually.

@Chiza : Thanks so much to all of you. I like to think all those hours spent planning and rounding up the 16 boys in my pack was all worth it and it was for sure. So much fun laughter and sometimes tears. They and their families were really there for my boys when we lost my stepkids. We were shown so much love by all of them. They made sure we ate and got rest for weeks when so much was going on with us.

@Donnawisdom : I really got suckered into it. With 4 boys at home and being a parapro at the school, , it was not really my plan to take on more. I was pretty tired all the time. I grew to love them all though and we did some really cool things.
