I take a few pics every year. My wife started this with her Christmas village so she could remember where she put everything. I thought it a good idea, so I started do it as well. I have to take outside pics tonight, but we don't do nearly as much outside as when our daughter lived at home. She loved putting up the outside stuff and would push us to do more and more. Its way more scaled back now.

Your home and decorations are beautiful. I don't take pictures of my set up but we do take lots of pictures of activities around it. Most of my pictures so far are a big mess of 6 people making gingerbread houses at the dining room table with lots of decorations in the background.

Your home is lovely. Love the lights! I take pictures too. There is no way I could remember what I did from year to year. I do have each area marked and stored together so at least that battle is a bit easier. We have downsized from a 12ft tree to a 8ft tree. We have way too many ornaments for the smaller tree and it's really tough to decide what to use. I have decades of collecting Radko ornaments.....

Okay I know I'm a Christmas nut But how many other people take pics of their decorations so they can remember how they set everything up 11.5 months from now when Christmas comes around again. I even take room level pics day and night and close ups of trees, garlands, and wreaths. There is no way I can remember all this stuff a year from now.
