MCTXSheriff Investigating Deceased Male Under Bridge in Kingwood
On August 1, 2023, at about 8:30 am, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a deceased person call located at the 25600 block of US Highway 59 in Kingwood,
Texas. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that a TxDOT crew working in the area located a deceased
male under a bridge at the location.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide/Violent Crimes Unit, along
with Crime Scene Investigators, responded to the location. Preliminary investigation indicates the
deceased may be homeless and succumbed to possible exposure. At this time the identity of the
male is unconfirmed, and there are no signs of foul play or threat to the public.
The deceased will be transported to the Forensic Center for an autopsy to confirm the male’s
identity and the cause of death. There is no further information available at this time.
