2022 Skywarn Spotter Training class on Wednesday 2/23/22 from 6:30pm-8:30pmMontgomery County in conjunction with the Houston-Galveston National Weather Service is offering the 2022 Skywarn Spotter Training.This FREE training will teach you to learn how to watch the skies during weather events and report storm information to the National Weather Service. These spotter reports are crucial for effective warnings and can save lives by validating an existing warning or providing the impetus for issuing a new warning. The training is ideal for ham radio and CERT groups, first responders, dispatchers and private citizens interested in getting involved.
