they just REopened, and were supposed to be Italian, but then, after their 'makeover', They decided to add some of the sandwiches, burgers, etc Back in to the menu. So, they are not really 'new', just kinda re-created-ish. I think people were hoping for Improvement, since they went through this tv program based change. I have been there for drinks time and again, and they were okay. We just stopped ordering an appetizer or burger to share, as the food was not worth the money. You Gotta put your best foot forward. Yes , there are glitches when they re-do a spot, but they have been open long enough to chase out the problems, by now.

@Heathur : Female bartender was actually braiding someone's hair at the bar while we were waiting for her to take our order. Place was not busy. We were actually the only table and a couple of men at the bar.

@Nuisance : I'm sure braiding hair is not part of the Bar Rescue makeover plan. Sounds like whomever was is charge that day/night just don't give a **** (assuming this is accurate info).

I've never gone but my dh would meet some friends now and again. I remember once I asked him to bring me food and he said I didn't want it. Lol, I'm a serious food snob, yes it was before the remake but, seems the same.
Btw I can't watch those shows. I can't stand aggressive ******s and all they do is scream, rather than actually work as a team.

Heathur : Hubby had a sub and onion rings. He said it was good but not spectacular. Onion rings were good. A little thick for me. I had hamburg (pretty small patty) and French fries which were limp. Looked like home cut/fried but not fried long enough. Decor is just plain.

@Nuisance : Wow decor is plain. It just had the Crew from kitchen makeover or impossible there. I would've thought the decor would've been fantastic

So nasty but I am not at all surprised. Tried 2x since reopen. Hard to get any service if you are not one of the regulars. Pizza had wood fired crust and cold toppings. Very bland. Won't go back
