I suppose I am the minority here. We don't have bus service so we'll have to figure out transportation. Also, student's are not getting enough instruction time especially those in AP classes. They are losing out on part of their education. 4951

I have to say, I'm a little jealous of this schedule. Our school did not go back as soon, so we've been revising the calendar endlessly to make up minutes, we are starting our day earlier as well. It's been exhausting for both us teachers and students. I can see how this will be beneficial for Kingwood HS. 4951

That's SO much better than the 7-whatever-it-was start time of 25 years ago! 735 was it? Wasn't much wakefulness in first period back then...

My kids love one lunch. It allows for tutoring, catching up school work, visiting with friends, and recharging from a hectic morning. 4951

I think it was 7:05 when I graduated in 1999. Could have been 7:25, not sure. This is much better. Hopefully, some of the worthless stuff is gone since then. They needed to teach me real-life skills, not have me read a bunch of novels and do research papers! Also, to speak languages, not the history and grammar of it. Could have learned ten languages if the taught like Rosetta Stone!!!

So glad the Seniors will get at least two months there before graduation! 4951
