buffaloglenn : Eh...we'll see, I guess, but my hunch is that it's not going to be used that often, and when it is used it will results in less fighting. "Basically anyone who has a different opinion on a thread than the OP gets booted" More like: "Anyone who has a different opinion on a thread than the OP, and voices it in a way that makes the OP super angry about it, in cases where the OP is either unable or unwilling to hear aggressively stated counterpoints to their beliefs OR believe the person is acting in bad faith...then a person may get booted from that one thread. In which case, that person is free to create a new thread of their own to discuss the topic in whatever way they please."
@Joe : It could stifle clicks where poignant differences of opinion exist, even if presented respectfully. But then again if I got kicked and thought it was unreasonable, I could always add a new thread and be the future kicker, which could mean more clicks. What goes around comes around, I suppose.
