Eh...we'll see, I guess, but my hunch is that it's not going to be used that often, and when it is used it will results in less fighting.

More like: "Anyone who has a different opinion on a thread than the OP, and voices it in a way that makes the OP super angry about it, in cases where the OP is either unable or unwilling to hear aggressively stated counterpoints to their beliefs OR believe the person is acting in bad faith...then a person may get booted from that one thread. In which case, that person is free to create a new thread of their own to discuss the topic in whatever way they please."

@buffaloglenn : You forget people tend to like to argue their view points. Hard to do that if all agree.

@mutton : And both you and Joe forget that many quickly get their feelings hurt when others are not in lockstep with their view, and will push that "kick" button as soon as possible.

New KDC Feature: Kick I've implemented a new feature on Kingwood.com, "Kick from Discussion". Using this option, the original poster of a discussion is now able to remove ("kick") people from their discussion if they want to. Once removed, that person will not be able to post on that discussion further (but it does not remove a person's past posts from the discussion, and does not prevent them from commenting on other discussion threads). To use it: - Go to a discussion you've created. - Click on the username of a person who has replied. - Click the "Kick from Discussion" option at the bottom of the menu. For transparency, there will be a list of any/all users kicked from a discussion at the very bottom of the discussion. These features are not yet available on the iOS/Android app store apps (TownHub).

@buffaloglenn : That occured to me too. We have all seen super sensitive OPs that get bent out of shape when disagreed with. Hopefully most will be mature about using that option and only push when there is obvious trolling going on. Otherwise, it could severely limit the amount of unpopular opinions on here.
I can deal with sarcastic and even rude comments because it's all part of participating on a forum and most of the time members police each other with the exception political posts where it is pretty much majority rule (unfortunately). I hope it won't be misused to silence differing viewpoints.
