Since we're being forced to do online schooling they're asking if we want to start school at a later date (giving up breaks, late start and early release).

I appreciate that they're asking but I really hope our governor comes to the rescue. 4951

If kids can't go on campus until September might as well have them start online August 11th. Every since March my boys been getting private online tutoring 3 times a week. I'm trying my best to keep them learning but dang these kids need to go back to school. Humble ISD has a great social distancing plan for the kids so what's the problem? Smh 4951

My concern is how will the online classes be? If they need more time to develop plans for the whole district instead of 1/3 I am fine with starting later.

My now 10th grader learned next to nothing the last quarter, and my son who graduated refused to take the calculus AP b/c he felt unprepared. Just don't need an entire 6 weeks wasted. 4951

I'm cool with a late start and no unnecessary breaks in October and February. As a single mom who works 65 hours a week, I don't have time for online school. 4951
