@kimberlyz : First, put landscape rocks in a border against the brick….about 2 feet wide. Never landscape too close to your foundation. It messes with the moisture in the summer and plants will draw moisture that is needed in the soil to hold your foundation from cracking. Also, if you plant too close, you may get moisture on the brick/stone and get mold. You are going to need to bring in some garden soil for plants. Looks like you just have sand. 4951

@Wiseowl : Yes. We had to bring in topsoil to build up some because we had to fix drainage issues. French drains etc. Now I'm trying to decide which plants and I'll add soil and mulch after the plants are in. We will put flagstone or something similar for outer boarder 4951

@mm4731 : Things that don't freeze like holly. Different types. Then nandinas and other plants. A variety of hardy plants. Taller towards the wall and work my way to the front with smaller plants through the bed. 4951
