You might hear thunder later You might hear thunder later this evening but these very likely will either miss us or fall apart before they get here. I'm hoping we get really lucky and they hang in there for us! ðŸ™It's not impossible, just unlikely. 830pm and my station shows a reading of 95Â° ðŸ”¥ I was listening to a discussion about August, and they are referencing 2011 or worse type conditions, so this is not going to get any better any time soon. Next week shows 101Â°-104Â° each day with small rain chances here and there.

@StormChaser : I didn't hear or see a darn thing. Rrrrrrr.

@peppermintstick : No kidding. I went for my daily walk this morning. Some of my walk is on the greenbelts and looking around and thought that if we don't get some good rain soon, they will have to start calling the trails "brown belt".

I saw a few sprinkles this morning on the pool. I could see the droplets breaking the surface tension of the water. I went outside and like Tim Robbins as Andy in Shawshank Redemption when he made it to the other side of sewer, stood with my arms raised and face waiting for the droplets to hit it.
Note: I didn't rip my shirt off.
It was disappointing as it only lasted a few seconds.
