Why I logged on today.

Saw this on the face place this morning. Thought I'd share in case our local rock hounds had a bit of wine and missed it. 4951

You are all welcome. And thanks for the tips today.
Sure wish I were there to enjoy the display.
I know some of Lone star campuses have some nice specimens on display too.
Not many people visit the college to enjoy the art etc displayed. 4951

@beadweaver: Thank you for posting this....very cool! I wish the library did a bit better advertising their displays and programs. I'll have a look at this for sure!

You are so right. That is one thing that gets my craw. We always here about this or that cool event after the fact. Nobody does any street advertising anymore. Cities and towns don't do well promoting anything. Even their websites are blank. 4951
