It was for dinner. Of course I couldn't eat everything. So brought leftovers home for lunch today.

Does that mean we payed about $10 each meal?
I softened my view on being as frugal a while back. We work way too hard now to not enjoy some fruits of our labor. We are a bit more relaxed now I think.

LizBeth91 : My dh would have a heart attack. Was this for dinner? Pray not lunch. We had an early Road House dinner this week - 28 total and that includes tip. We order water - no dessert. Frugalness is a hard habit to break!

After I tried it it quickly became my 2nd favorite type dessert. My favorite is BANANA CREAM PIE
ðŸ˜‹ðŸ˜‹ðŸ˜‹ðŸ˜‹ðŸ˜‹ GULP !!

@LizBeth91 : Our palates are simple, but that's not to say we don't splurge on other things. Dh is an over the top gift giver, yay me. We eat out about twice a week. Always a lunch special. We enjoy it. His trifecta is a lunch special with a gift card and a restaurant couponâ€¦..happy man! Lol.

When dh was a working stiff we were treated to some of the finest food aroundâ€¦â€¦oil companies dinners are the best for two reasonsâ€¦..our choice - their dime. Ahhhh those were the days

Loco Cantina Review So happy Hubster wanted to try this new restaurant! I had a carne guisada platter and he had an American enchilada plate. Both terrific. I can't believe the carne guisada broth was the tastiest I've ever had (even better than mine!!) For dessert I had strawberry tres leches, muy delicioso! AND if that wasn't enough, the service was the best I've had in a long time. Smiles and attentiveness all the way around!

@LizBeth91 : All looks yummy, except the rice. Why they got to put corn in it?? Ruins the rice for me, I'm one of those weird people that loves corn products but not corn itself.

@MissAmericanPie : Meal was 23.45 meal - 5.00 tip 28.45. We will leave 20% for above average service. 15% for average. This was for dinner, early bird special - lunch would have been 15 bucks ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

@kimmyb : The chips are a bit hardier than the store bought. The texture and taste were both really great. We received 2 salsas, one tomato-based, another was light green and creamy. Both were
dee-licious!
I didn't have a Rita, sorryâ€¦.

@MrJohnson : Yes! We're definitely going back. Another thing I noticed was it is cooked with health in mind. Sometimes I see oodles of cheese and oil which can really cover up the true taste of food.
