EleanorRigby : Only gated for cars. The golf course wraps around the place and anybody can walk right in.

@ET : I've never been there. Crimes like this are usually crimes of opportunity, so, considering the time it happened, it was probably a kid that lives there. That's my theory. 4951

@EleanorRigby : maybe or a contractor employee that works there in the day and knows the opportunities. Really not a neighborhood to just drift through as it takes a lot of walking to get in and out. 4951

@Cam123 : wow, have you never forgotten something? Even if you've left something somewhere that doesn't give the right for some one else to take it. 4951

@Aggies123 : Who leaves their purse in an unlocked car?

Would you blame yourself if you had done that and your purse was stolen? 4951

@EleanorRigby :

I would not do that.

But blame the thief, not the victim. 4951

Keep giving them easy pickings it seems Kingwood!!!

Using the greenbelts and local for sure. With gloves, so not his first time. Wish someone would screw a .45 into his nose, or a nice Louisville slugger 4951

@EleanorRigby : I'm with you on this one....there are an amazing amount of people that leave valuables "only this one time" in their car that people seem to pick off. Amazing how they find them that "only" time. 4951

@ET : I feel for anyone who's been a victim of theft, it sucks and makes you feel "invaded." That said, don't make it easier for someone to steal from you by leaving your purse in your unlocked car overnight.

Leaving bikes out, walking away from personal items in a public space, leaving your purse in the unlocked car; all of those scenarios can end up in theft and all of them are preventable by you. 4951

@KingwoodDotCom : A while back (6-12 mos?) another had posted pics from their driveway cameras of a similar theft in progress.

These present pictures look very much like the same person. Similar face, profile and even dress w/ the skinny jeans. I'm 99.9999% sure that it's the same guy.

I tried searching for the earlier posting but couldn't find it. Might want to take a look in the archives. ..!

@Aggies123 : The criminal is the one to blame. Breaking into cars is a crime of opportunity. If they see something of value they will break the windows if car is locked. In a perfect world we should be able to leave anything we want in our cars. Unfortunately we don't live in that perfect world and we have to lock everything up and take everything inside. I feel for this lady . You end up feeling so violated this. No reason to blame the victim 4951
