According to police reports, earlier this morning (Tuesday, July 10), Kingwood patrol officers were dispatched to Cotswold Manor Drive in the Barrington subdivision for a call about a theft. The caller stated that someone had broken into a vehicle overnight, stolen a purse and later used their credit card at a gas station.
The victim's house was equipped with surveillance cameras, so the homeowners and police reviewed the footage. At around 3:00 AM, the recording showed a male suspect checking doors on multiple vehicles in their driveway. He was able to gain entry into a white SUV belonging to the victim. The male is seen taking the purse and leaving the area.
