I know Kenston Farm is advertising huge meat deals in the parking lot of Deerbrook mall, but after reading the reviews, it sounded like they are not the quality that they advertise. When typing when they started I found 1950s but it's weird because BBB wasn't aware of them until 2/2024. Anyone had their products before?

HappyDay2016 : I haven't tried any of their products. I would most likely use Kingwood Farmers market to get meat there, rather than "pop-up" sales like that.

@LiveHappy : Thanks, I have an uneasy feeling about it too

@HappyDay2016 :
I would not buy meat from the back of a truck. Do you know who/how it was butchered and was it sanitary, was it kept properly refrigerated, how many times was it in and out of refrigeration during transit, etc.

Well, let's do some MATH from their website pricing....I picked the packages that were "basic" and thus on the lower-cost end.....Here's what I found....

@HappyDay2016 :
Definitely a great example of "you get what you pay for".

Thank you all, it sounded like it was coming from American farms. But probably not

@HappyDay2016 :
buying meat in a parking lot would not be on my list of 'good things to do'. There Are reputable butchers selling packages of meat with hamburger , steaks, etc. They amortize out to a Very good price, but do cost a bit,up front, and you cannot choose what comes with the package, normally. My sister just bought a package like this, in Cypress, where she lives, and it has been a really good purchase, for them.

HappyDay2016 : Just wanted to share that I have used this local company a few times and was happy with the quality so far. They come to Kingwod Farmers market, in case you are interested to try. lawranch.com/

@LiveHappy : Thank you! I noticed a lot of meat is being mixed from different sources and not a fan of that. Will give them a try!
