Did you know there are 6 types of DPS Alerts in Texas?

There are six types of alerts you could receive from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Amber- Serious child abduction
Silver - Missing older adults with documented mental condition
Blue - Wanted violent criminal who has killed or seriously wounded local, federal or state law enforcement officer
Endangered Missing Person - Missing person of any age with an intellectual disability
Camo - Missing current or former US Armed Forces struggling with mental illness
Clear - Kidnapped or abducted adult in immediate danger of injury or death

I have seen amber on the phone, and silver up on the freeway notice signs. I'm not sure i've ever noticed the other kinds.
Silver notice signs always make me start humming that song The Way.

The first time we saw a clear alert on a freeway sign, I had to Google it. I had no idea.
