My daughter gave me heads up that it was bad weather in Spring and was headed to KW. I was omw to vote and hoped to reach back home before it hit. I left the Community Ctr and instead of going to the light at WLHPkwy, I drove down Golden Trails to get back on at Creekwood. I saw a senior age lady with a grocery bag start jogging and pulled up beside and offered her a ride. I figured she lived in one of that neighborhood's townhomes. She gratefully got in and directed me all the way to the Green Tree park on Brook Shadow (about a mile). The wind was picking up when we got to the park but she insisted I let her out at the stop sign. She went right as I turned left and just then the storm let loose with hail and blinding rain. I proceeded across pkwy into Lutheran Church parking lot/covered entrance until it stopped. It sounded like big rocks hitting my car!! I've never driven in a hail storm before. What luck for that lady that I came along when I did cuz it was already dark and she would have been very hard to see in that blinding rain and no â˜” either. I felt like a hero!! ðŸ˜ƒ

Kingwood on the weather channel My husband and daughter are in Ft. Worth this weekend and my husband just called because he flipped on the weather channel and they were talking about the "hailstorm" that Kingwood got. We didn't get a ton up front in Trailwood (about 30 second of pea size), but as you can see, large areas of the bubble saw a lot of hail ranging from small pebbles to quarters!
