@wmubronco : That is quite impressive and very cool. I bet you really enjoyed that experience and also learned a lot. I could of used that car today as all my grandson had to putt around in was my 1924 pedal firetruck today. He would have loved to putt around in that street rod.

peppermintstick : I need a custom project...........a lot of great looking cars............including the Roush Cobra original insured for 1.1 million....but my budget is more like for the peddle car...............wadda think?

@Jonn : If you're ever up in Michigan, in addition to the obvious Dearborn/Detroit area stuff, check out the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. Big, cool collection.

He does. He keeps going back and forth on wanting to sell it but for now we still have it.

mellen : Wow! It must be rare.

@luannski : pedal cars from the late teens to late 30's fetch the highest prices and are quite collectible. Trucks from the same period are even more rare. Some sell for up to $ 15,000.00 fully restored. My friend that made the offer is just about finished on a restoration of a 1934 full size firetruck and was wanting it to show alongside his completed one. But I'll have to much fun having my grandson peddling next to me at cars shows to part with it.
