Don't forget the slide that was essentially a griddle with razor like edges that ejected you at high speeds onto contrete.

Oh makes me cringe when I think of going down those metal slides on a hot summer day, in shorts! Ouch!!!!

@cbear : Third degree burns followed by road rash. Those were some good times. Never went home crying either or my mom would pull out the orange evil and that stuff burned more than the road rash.

@SandyKnee : Ha! Somethings never change! The 2 boys on the right are oblivious while the 2 boys on the left aren't missing a thing. Mouths open and eyes bugging!! (Those monkey bars had to have been designed by another of the male persuasion.) Check out chubby butt in the center at ground level! Recess will be over by the time he gets halfway up. Too funny! (-:
