Kat Von D gets Inked
The 41-year-old tattoo artist - who recently renounced witchcraft and the occult, and embraced Christianity - revealed on Instagram she that is in the process of 'blacking out' her body which has taken '17 sessions and almost 40 accumulative hours' thus far.
So ink on top of ink?

@RaggedyAnn : interesting. I am glad she saw the light but confused as to why cover her tattoos - well I get the satanic ones but she has several that were lovely. Oh well, to each their own.

This option is less painful than laser removal? Seems like ink poisoning could be a possibility with that much ink....in my never-been-tattooed mind, anyway.

@RaggedyAnn : All of my tattoos are ink on top of ink. They cover up ones from my younger days, that weren't thought through well. The one that is not a cover up, kinda goes with the theme of the article. It's a cross with a Lutheran Rose incorporated into it.

@RaggedyAnn : I don't know anything about tattoos just that my Dad got one while he was in the military and always wanted it removed. I guess people change their minds at times.

@Murry : Yeah I am not a fan of tattoos at all. But to each their own. I am also not a fan of pain I heard they hurt a lot.

I have never been a fan of tattoos. This is a good reason to never get one. KVD looks worse with all of that black ink. I never understood why women would be in elegant gowns and have these huge tattoos on their back or arms which takes away from the gown.

I read that other celebrities like Brad Pitt regret theirs. Plus, it takes hours to cover them up when they are starring in a movie. Movies do not like all of those tattoos.

@sammee : black ink comes off pretty easy with lasers. It's the color that's hard.
