Who here jumped on the sourdough bread train during the pandemic? And if you created a starter, are you still baking sourdough bread? Did you name your starter? Sourdough bread kept me sane and I'm still faithfully baking 2 sometimes 3 loaves a week. My starter's name is Virgil.

@Chrisso : We love sourdough bread! I would love to start baking it. Could you share your recipe?

@ZMAN : I use a Lodge cast iron combo cooker to bake my bread. It works great!

@Chrisso : I first had sourdough at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and have loved it every since...yum !
That looks beautiful and I did make some breads and pies during the pandemic. Not so much now.

I want to start making bread now. But you do need to let it rise if you do not have a bread maker which takes time. Thinking about doing it.

I want to start making bread now. But you do need to let it rise if you do not have a bread maker which takes time. Thinking about doing it.
