Rocklady Airborne319: I'm very sorry about your spine & back problems. Sounds like Hell to endure that every day! A neighbor was 6'2" & she didn't want to raise her countertops because she thought it would affect future resale of her house. So she bought super squishy floor mats to stand on while in the kitchen & said they helped somewhat. Look for them on Amazon. I like the cabinet .with the doors, too & that's a good price.
 
@McCauley3 : My MIL has them in her kitchen, but for the opposite reason. She is shrinking as she gets into her mid 80s and needs the extra height. I have used them at her house and they do feel good under your feet. My issue is being bent over at the waste cutting and chopping. We're from Louisiana and we have to cut up onions, celery, bell pepper, garlic, and green onions for nearly everything….
