Groceries seem to be up 20%, maybe more. Then there's the price of Gas, Electricity, New and used cars way up too. Maybe time to tighten belts, streamline expenses where we can. Not a lot that can be done except maybe work a second job.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I totally agree about the stupidity of digital coupons! If you are in the store and try to download the coupon, the website is usually interfered with by the Wi-Fi in the store. This happens both at HEB and Kroger. Just put the goods on sale for everyone! It drives me nuts! 🤷â€â™€ï¸
muffy : And why can't they make 1 button that will load ALL the coupons on the Kroger card at once?
@RaggedyAnn : I tried just going through and downloading everything I thought I might use at Kroger. It told me I was at the maximum so I had to go back and delete some. I'm fed up with Kroger because sometimes even on sale it's still more expensive than H‑E‑B.
@ILoveCookies : They are expensive. Can't believe they limit the # of coupons that can be downloaded. They really rip men off because most guys won't bother with the card or the coupon game. Same thing with CVS.

@NeenaC0629: inflation is to blame. When diesel fuel prices are high, it costs more to ship items. Add to that the average worker at a grocery store now makes in excess of $10 per hour when many positions used to have minimum wage. In addition to those things, the same wage standards apply to the product manufacturers. Generally speaking, it's a domino effect that ends with consumers paying more and more.
@Reverb2000 : Kroger has digital coupons for produce. I download coupons for carrots, salad greens, tomatoes, onions, various fruits, and a dollar amount off a total amount of produce. Apparently they customize coupons based on previous purchases.
@NeenaC0629 : Same here. I download coupons and check sale papers before going shopping. I love digital coupons - so much easier than clipping paper coupons and my digital are always with me.
