Since Levi's were not available to buy in the UK for years, they were highly sought after. I took my youngest there, when he graduated from high school. I was wearing a pair of Levi's button fly 504's on the Tube, our second day there. I've had them for over 20 years, and they are perfectly worn, and so soft. I still wear them. A lady on the subway offered me $200. for them. I turned her down, as there is a Lot of history in those jeans. At one time, you could not bring more than 3 pairs of Levis to the UK, when traveling there, as the resale was pure black market.
